How Will My Order Ship?
With the exception of some of the smaller 4 inch mounds, all of our Pitching Mounds will ship via truck freight (LTL). Once the mound is picked up from the warehouse, you will be emailed the tracking details. The trucking company will be calling the number you provided to schedule a delivery appointment once the mound reaches the destination terminal. LTL Freight Shipping
LTL Shipping times can vary based on which mound you order and where the mound is being shipped too. Typically, estimated shipping time to the local terminal is 3-6 business days, Not including pre-ship time, for any destination in the United States. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories) Delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier. Generally, LTL delivery is available Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. A signature will be required. The shipping company will give you a two hour window and someone must be there to take receipt of the mounds.
FREE Shipping
The price listed on the product information screen you ordered is the price you will pay. Shipping is FREE to the customer unless otherwise stated or you have requested additional delivery services. We strive to make shopping online at Portable Pitching Mounds as easy and convenient for you as possible!
Delivery Method
Due to the size of these mounds, some shipping companies will require that the shipment for to a commercial address. A commercial address can be a local business, the ballfields, or a school. With some of the larger mounds, they are too large to use a lift gate. It is the responsibility of the customer to unload the mounds from the truck. All of the mounds will arrive on a pallet.
When Will My Order Arrive?
Each product on our site has a pre-ship processing time, which is the number of business days it will take for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment from the warehouse or distribution center. Pre-shipment time can vary greatly based on manufacture and the time of year. Because most larger mounds are made to order, shipping times can change unexpectedly. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as that information becomes available.
Standard Return Policy
Your satisfaction is what counts at PortablePitchingMounds.com. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will accept your return or exchange on most brands within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Please note that certain items are considered special orders by the manufacturer, and these products may not be returnable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer! While we offer free shipping for most of our products, the original shipping charges and handling fees for the returned item(s) will be deducted from the refund. In addition there may be a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return. Order Cancellation
All canceled orders will be confirmed by PortablePitchingMounds.com in email. If you have not received a confirmation, your order has not been cancelled. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled and costs for round-trip shipping will be deducted from refunds if orders are refused. Orders that are refused are still considered returns, and as such, the restocking fee and shipping costs both ways will be incurred as detailed above. Any order that is refused or returned because the customer does not like the product, no longer wants the product, or believed the order was cancelled is considered a ‘buyer’s remorse return and credit will be issued as detailed above. All credits for returned items will be processed once the products are returned to the distribution center.
